Hey, I’m Oliver. I live and work in Berlin. Since I started my graphic design studies in 2001 I’ve always run around with a camera. While trying to capture exciting moments and putting it all into effective compositions, I got addicted. So I’ve assisted other photographers, took all possible courses at my university, and had essential help by some great people. So in 2004 I ended up getting paid for smaller portrait jobs, film still photography, and some architecture.
Working as a full-time photographer was never an option to me. You know, Berlin is a crowded house for photographers. So I’ve always treated my photography as hobby. Learning how to deal with light, lenses and making picture compositions surely helps me with my other big passion, moving things on screens: crankmotion.com
Time will tell how this is all gonna end up. What I do know about my pictures now it’s more and more about people and making them look beautiful. That’s what I love. And after 6 years of earning some of my money with this I thought it was time to show off and make this website. So welcome to a collection of some of my photography.
